so, what do you do?

A freelance videographer?

YouTuber?

Social media marketer?

To be real with you, this is a question that I’ve always struggled with. My whole life I’ve kind of been of jack of all trades, and that really hasn’t stopped with the beginning of my business.

Here’s the truth, what I really am is a one-women creative agency for content creators and creative entrepreneurs. And a YouTuber, if I had to add one qualifier.

My time is spent in two main areas: working on my own brand and content, and working on client’s brands and content.

My own content is all about education and inspiration. If you watch my YouTube videos (which, if you don’t, you’re totally missing out) then you’ll know I’m passionate about sharing all my social media secrets, including Instagram hacks, and how to edit awesome YouTube videos.

I put that knowledge into practise for my clients. I edit podcasts, produce YouTube channels, and create content strategies for Instagram and other social media platforms too. I also offer consultations, workshops, and branding packages.

But how did I get here?

I’ve been social-media-obsessed since before we even called it social media.

I remember picking up my parent’s first ever digital camera and running around taking pictures and shooting fuzzy, 4:3 videos of my family, and eventually turning around the camera on me.

I bought my own first camera with a summer’s worth of baby sitting money when I was 12 years old (it was a pink, Polaroid brand point and shoot that had this lovely buzzing noise in the background of any audio it recorded). And then I discovered YouTube.

The first Youtuber I found was charlieissocoollike (anyone remember him?) and from there it grew to the vlogbrothers, to Five Awesome Girls, and eventually to modern classics like Casey Neistat and more. Ever since I was a young teenager, YouTube was my TV. It was where I found inspiration, and community, and it was where I chose to share my videos as well.

Even though it took me ten years of posting (2009 to 2019) on and off over the years about a huge variety of topics, I eventually hit my goal of gaining 10,000 subscribers in March of 2019. And I’ve just kept growing from there.

It’s a weird feeling to know that you’re living out your childhood dreams.

And through the everyday tasks of responding to emails and doing client revisions, I have to remind myself of that often. I couldn’t be more grateful to have arrived where I am now, and I can’t wait to see where I go from here.

I hope you’ll be apart of the journey.
